The CMA December 2026 exam dates are out — and the date that should worry you is not in December at all.
Quick answer
ICMAI has published the December 2026 time tables. CMA Foundation is on 13 December 2026, in two shifts. CMA Intermediate and Final run from 10 to 17 December 2026 — Final in the morning session, Intermediate in the afternoon. But the date you actually have to act on is the examination application form: 10 October 2026 for Intermediate and Final, 14 October 2026 for Foundation.
CMA December 2026 exam dates at a glance
| Level | Exam dates | Session |
|---|---|---|
| Foundation | 13 December 2026 | Two shifts — 10 AM to 12 noon and 2 PM to 4 PM |
| Intermediate | 10 to 17 December 2026 | 2 PM to 5 PM |
| Final | 10 to 17 December 2026 | 10 AM to 1 PM |
Foundation is one day, answered as multiple-choice questions on OMR sheets. Intermediate and Final are spread across eight days, centre-based and offline, and the paper order differs between Group 1 and Group 2. Download the time table PDF and mark your own papers — do not work from a summary.
The October deadline that decides whether you sit at all
Filling the examination application form is a separate step from registering for the course. Every term, students in Coimbatore discover this in mid-October, when it is already too late.
As per the current ICMAI notification for the December 2026 term:
- Intermediate and Final — last date 10 October 2026; 11 to 17 October 2026 with a Rs.500 late fee.
- Foundation — last date 14 October 2026; 15 to 21 October 2026 with a Rs.500 late fee.
No form, no admit card, no exam hall. Fill it in the first week of October rather than on the last day — the portal slows badly and payment failures are common. If the difference between the two forms is not clear to you, we wrote about it here: CMA registration and the CMA exam form are not the same.
What fourteen weeks of study time actually looks like
From today you have roughly fourteen weeks to the first paper. That is enough for one Intermediate group prepared properly. It is tight for both groups unless you started in July and have already finished a first pass of the syllabus.
A workable split is eight weeks to finish the syllabus and the illustrations, four weeks of past papers written under exam timing, and two weeks of revision. If your syllabus is not close to complete by the end of September, be honest with yourself and drop to one group rather than half-prepare two. Students taking CMA coaching in Coimbatore with us are put on that timetable now, not in November.
Check the dates yourself
Treat these dates as a reminder, not as the source. Both time table PDFs — Foundation, and Intermediate and Final — are published on the ICMAI Updates & Announcements page. Download them, confirm your own papers and your own exam centre, and look again in October in case ICMAI revises anything. Everything here refers to the Indian CMA course conducted by ICMAI.
The official December 2026 time tables, the online exam application form, the admit card page and the results page are all linked on our CMA exam links and study material page.
