CMA coaching near PSG, PSGR Krishnammal, Hindusthan, Sri Ramakrishna, Dr. N.G.P. and Kumaraguru colleges

If you are doing your degree at one of the well-known colleges on the Avinashi Road – Peelamedu belt, Masters Professional Academy is between three and thirty minutes from your campus, and our part-time CMA batches are built around a college day. Many students from these colleges have completed CMA with us while finishing their degree.

Distance from campus

Six colleges, all within a short ride of the academy

We are at No. 1544, First Floor, P.R. Building, Avinashi Road, Peelamedu — near Hope College, opposite Varadharaja Mills. Every college below sits on or just off the same road, which is why so many of our evening-batch students come straight from a lecture hall.

Why it works

Why students from these colleges study CMA with us

Timings

Batches that fit a college day

Part-time Batch 3 runs 4.30 PM to 7 PM, so a student who finishes college at 4 walks in, studies one paper properly, and is home for dinner. Batch 1 (9.30 AM to 12 noon) suits students with afternoon college hours, and recorded classes cover exam weeks and internal assessment days.

Distance

Minutes, not an hour, from campus

Coaching that takes an hour to reach is coaching you stop attending in the second month. From PSGR Krishnammal it is a walk; from PSG Arts and Science, Sri Ramakrishna or Hindusthan it is one short bus hop along Avinashi Road. That is why attendance stays high, and attendance is what clears groups.

How to reach us

Focus

One course, one room, one goal

MPA teaches CMA and only CMA. A B.Com student sits next to other CMA students, not next to students preparing for five different exams, and every test, scanner and answer key in the building is written for the ICMAI paper you will face.

CMA Foundation

Degree + CMA

How a degree and CMA fit together, year by year

Where you areWhat you do at MPAWhere you stand when you graduate
Class 12 result in hand, joining collegeRegister for CMA Foundation by 31 July or 31 January; evening batch through the first yearFoundation cleared in the first year of college
Second and third year of B.Com / BBA / B.ScCMA Intermediate — Group I, then Group II, or both together if the hours allowBoth Intermediate groups cleared alongside the degree
Final year, any degreeDirect entry to CMA Intermediate without Foundation (provisional admission; degree certificate submitted within 18 months)Group I or both groups cleared, practical training started as a fresh graduate

The December clash. ICMAI’s December exam falls in the same weeks as most college semester exams. Students who attempt one group per term, and plan the December term with their department early, manage both without drama. Our note on doing CMA along with B.Com explains the plan.

Practical training counts. The 15 months of ICMAI practical training can begin once you are registered for Intermediate, so a student who clears Intermediate in college walks into a paid training role on graduation day rather than a job hunt.

Not sure whether you start at Foundation or Intermediate? Read CMA course eligibility, or send us your college and year on WhatsApp and we will tell you in one reply.

The Kumaraguru example

Many Kumaraguru Liberal Arts students have finished CMA with us

Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science is the furthest college on this page, and it has still sent us many students over the years — because once a few students in a department clear CMA groups while studying, their juniors follow. The same pattern is now visible at PSG Arts and Science, PSGR Krishnammal, Sri Ramakrishna, Hindusthan and Dr. N.G.P.: commerce departments in Coimbatore actively encourage students to add a professional qualification to the degree, and the students choose the institute that is close enough to attend every day.

Our Pride of Masters page names the students who cleared both CMA Intermediate groups with us, and our results page lists every achiever term by term.

Questions college students ask

Before you join

Can I attend college and CMA classes on the same day?

Yes. Most of our college students attend Part-time Batch 3 (4.30 PM to 7 PM) after college, or Batch 1 (9.30 AM to 12 noon) if their college runs afternoon hours. Recorded classes cover the days you cannot come.

Which CMA level do I start at as a college student?

If you have passed Class 12 you start at CMA Foundation. If you are in the final year of any degree, or already a graduate, you enter CMA Intermediate directly and skip Foundation.

Do I need my college’s permission?

No. CMA registration is with ICMAI and is independent of your college. It is still a good idea to tell your department, because most commerce faculty in Coimbatore support students taking up CMA and will help you plan around internal exams.

Is Masters Professional Academy affiliated with these colleges?

No. MPA is an independent CMA-only institute. The colleges are listed here because their students study with us and because our campus is close to theirs. We also run a separate free CMA Foundation programme for colleges under a formal MoU — see Free CMA Course for Colleges.

Is there a hostel or paying-guest accommodation nearby?

MPA does not run a hostel. There are several paying-guest and hostel options around Hope College and Peelamedu, used by outstation students of the colleges above, and we are happy to point you to the ones our students use.
